Egg is a versatile cooking ingredient. Many people who do not eat meat eat eggs. Delicious and quick, this curry can be ready in 25 minutes.
I call it easiest curry and everyone’s favorite. Meat loves adore it and eggetarian vegetarians like it too. If you have leftover eggs from devil eggs served for a party, you still can make curry with leftovers and enjoy a quick meal with Rice and Eggs. Kids love it for taste of eggs and moms love it because it is healthy for kids. A nice change of pace, and convenient on those days that you might have forgotten to thaw out the meat that you planned to cook. Try this recipe and your family will fall in love with it.

Butter Chicken – Chicken marinated in yogurt and spices and then grilled or baked in Conventional Oven or traditional Indian Tandoor served in rich tomato cream sauce. It is popular in countries all over the world as Chicken Tikka Masala. This one of most often made dish at my home. My husband loves it and will not mind it repeated in next three meals For vegetarian members, I usually take out some gravy and add roasted veggies or Paneer Tikka to it. Less work and both parties happy
You can also make sauce/gravy for this dish ahead of time and then quickly finish the dish when demanded in hurry.
I love to eat tandoori naan with butter chicken, but that is a special occassion affair. On daily basis it goes well with my healthy choice of Whole Wheat Roti or Chapati. Now, back to my butter chicken recipe. Here is the list of ingredients:
- 1 lbs – Chicken (Boneless Breast Meat in 3-4 inch pieces)
- 2 Cup – Tomato Puree
- 1 tbsp – Honey
- tsp – Salt (To Taste)
- 2 tbsp – Heavy Cream
- 1 tbsp – Red Pepper Powder
- 1 tbsp – Unsalted Butter
- 2 tbsp – Garlic (paste or mashed)
- 1 tbsp – Ginger (paste or grated)
- 1 tbsp – Lemon (Juice)
- 1/2 Cup – Yogurt (Greek Yogurt Or Remove excess water from regular Yogurt)
- 1 tsp – Garam Masala
- 2 tbsp – Lemon (Juice)
